Jonathan Majors and Meagan Good announced their engagement on the red carpet at the Ebony Power 100 Gala in Los Angeles, Nov. 17.
The couple gushed love for one another during an interview with E! News’ Francesca Amiker, while Good flashed her large diamond ring for the cameras. Amiker commented that their affectionate display of love was shutting down breakup rumors, as the happy couple grinned from ear to ear.
“Truthfully we did two proposals,” Good told the outlet. She was pressed for details, but refused to talk about just how those two proposals unfolded.
“But yeah, we’re going to keep it to ourselves, but I was very shocked and it was wonderful,” Good told E! News.
The newly engaged couple went onto explain the significance behind sharing their big news at that particular location.
“Well, we met here two years ago,” Majors said.
“Ebony Power 100 is the event we met at in the bathroom,” Good told the outlet, before clarifying, “In the unisex bathroom.”

The “Think Like a Man” actress has remained at Majors’ side throughout his legal troubles, and has supported him through multiple court appearances in New York City.
They started a relationship in May 2023, roughly two months after Majors was arrested for an alleged domestic dispute with his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, according to E! News.

He was found guilty of assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree in December and sentenced in April to a 52-week in-person counseling program, according to the BBC. The couple has not shared any information pertaining to their upcoming nuptials.
