At its heart is a movement at war with free speech, defining the right itself as a tool of oppression. That purpose is clear in what has been called the “bible” of the Antifa movement, Rutgers University Professor Mark Bray's “Antifa: An Anti-Fascist Handbook.”

Bray emphasized the movement's fight for free speech, saying, “At the heart of antifascist thinking is the idea that “I disagree with what you say, but I will defend with my life your right to speak.'' 'It is a rejection of the classic liberal expression 'It. '”
Bray argues that “most Americans who joined Antifa were anarchists or anti-authoritarian communists…From that perspective, 'free speech' itself was just a bourgeois fantasy worth considering. “It's just a matter of time,” he admits.
Now, liberal families can bring some of that political violence home for the holidays, pledging that there will be no nights of peace or silence as long as dissent is heard. Antifa has moved into retail stores, and what better way to celebrate political violence and anger than with an Antifa costume?

With post-election tensions rising, support for groups like Antifa will only fuel calls for violence. Liberal figures like former Washington Post reporter Taylor Lorenz have even conveyed support for the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in Manhattan.
This is not the time for a full naughty list to glorify a group that regularly beats up reporters and people who oppose them. This may appeal to your own special foul-mouthed Santa, but this is not the season for political violence.
