Jordan Love Eyes Mika Parsons for the Packers

Jordan Love is looking to bring Mika Parsons to Green Bay amidst a tense contract situation between Parsons and the Dallas Cowboys.

Parsons has been in a prolonged contract dispute, having publicly expressed his frustrations with the Cowboys earlier this month. Love seems to be seizing this moment to pitch the Packers as his next destination.

“I talked to Mika this offseason,” Love shared on the “Up and Adams” show. “We did a podcast together. I talked to him, I recruited him a bit.”

Earlier in the month, Parsons, a two-time Pro Bowler, criticized Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, claiming that negotiations for an extension had been approached with ill intent.

“Unfortunately, I don’t want to be here anymore,” Parsons stated in a social media post. “I don’t want to continue negotiating without an agent. I don’t want to risk injury while I’m hurt because of the organization, fans, and teammates.”

Parsons is entering the final year of his rookie contract.

He has been present at Cowboys training camp but has not been participating fully while holding in.

In a surprising twist last Friday, Parsons was seen at a preseason game against the Falcons, dressed casually and enjoying nachos in front of the cameras.

Jones has addressed the situation, dismissing the idea of trading Parsons as “BS.” He remarked that Parsons’ agent, David Murgueta, had taken their latest contract offer and “pinned it up our ass.”

“We were going to send an offer,” Jones explained, noting that the ongoing negotiations have become frustrating. “I’ve already made concessions in some areas, and now the agent seems to want to step in.”
