Jordan Poole foolishly drains clock by forgetting NBA rules during Wizards comeback bid

Jordan Poole of Washington is the best example of when you give your child the responsibility of watching over your home for the first time. Sure, things might go smoothly, but you might end up burning down your house because you put a paper plate in the oven.

Poole and the Wizards have the second-worst record in the Eastern Conference and don’t have a shred of defense, but Poole is going to get his buckets, and that means a lot of shot-chucking and shenanigans. It brought a lot of moments.against milwaukee bucks, losing 130-120, Poole was walking down the court rolling the ball on the ground. It’s a smart play because the shot clock doesn’t start until he touches the ball.

However, Poole did not know the game clock would actually start. It begins when the ball enters play. As time was running out for his team to make a comeback, Poole accidentally wasted precious seconds.

The funniest thing about this play is that while Poole is losing his mind over it, everyone else on the court (including his teammates) knows that this is a normal thing to happen in the NBA. I think it’s just a matter of ridicule.

But Poole ultimately scored on the play, hitting a tough floater to bring the lead back to single digits. Maybe it was all a distraction tactic to catch the defense off guard and go get a bucket. Poole is just thinking miles ahead of us ordinary people.

Poole finished the night with 30 points, one rebound, and one assist as the Wizards lost 142-129, but there were buckets despite not knowing how the game time would work out. The funniest NBA team of all time begins anew.
