The day after the 24-year-old partner of University of North Carolina head coach Bill Belichick announced her defamation lawsuit against journalist Pablo Torre, she released a screenshot challenging assertions that Torre misrepresented her age.
In the May 9 episode of “Discovered by Pablo Torre,” he showcased a video from the March 2024 Miss Maine USA pageant where Hudson claimed to be 22. He also reported that she had erroneously listed her birth year as 2000 in an internal document from the football program.
On Monday, Hudson shared two screenshots from a text exchange with Emily Muse, the UNC athletics human resources director, revealing Muse’s acknowledgment of incorrectly noting Hudson’s birth year on a directory document.
“This is just one of numerous inaccurate and defamatory narratives about me from Pablo Torre,” Hudson stated. “I did not fill out any UNC internal documents or directory forms.”
Hudson didn’t provide any legal documents related to her apparent complaint against Torre.
Latter that night, Torre released a video suggesting that the messages he received on X might have been manipulated.
He has maintained his reports on Hudson and Belichick’s relationship. Torre stated in May that he interviewed 11 individuals closely associated with Hudson and mentioned concerns from Belichick’s family regarding her.
His investigations revealed a timeline of incidents portraying Hudson as controlling and selfish, along with other supposedly significant stories.
Torre also claimed that UNC’s athletic department had barred Hudson from the football field and facility.
The Carolina Athletics denied that assertion, noting Hudson’s consistent presence on the sidelines this season.
Hudson and Belichick, who publicly acknowledged their relationship last June, have been under the spotlight throughout Torre’s inquiry, especially following Torre’s challenging “CBS Sunday Morning” interview in April.
During that interview, she notably interrupted, preventing Belichick from elaborating on how they first met.
Belichick mentioned they crossed paths on a plane in 2021, while Hudson previously disclosed they began dating in 2022.
