You know how I always call the Mets dysfunctional? … Yes, I do.
The top of the eighth inning of Wednesday’s game between the New York Mets and the Los Angeles Dodgers was a laugh-fest. 9-3 Red, relief pitcher Jorge Lopez Oddly enough, he was ejected from the game midway through the count by third base umpire Ramon De Jesus. As Lopez was leaving the field, he started letting out all of his frustrations, throwing his glove into the crowd. Even more hilariously, it wasn’t a Mets fan who caught his glove, but a group of Dodgers and Yankees fans! (LOL)
A strange ejection, a strange reaction to the ejection and commentary from the SNY Mets staff.
“It was a bad day overall, but it got worse. (Jorge) Lopez fought back by throwing his glove over the net into the crowd.” ⚾️🎙️ pic.twitter.com/6bWb7fAOga

After the game, Lopez continued to vent his frustration, slamming the Mets to the press as “probably the worst team in the entire MLB.”
Hahahahaha!

And to make the situation even more hilarious, the Mets responded by canceling him (I’m literally rolling on the floor laughing. Okay, not literally… but you get my point).
The Mets plan to DFA Jorge Lopez, per source.

How can one franchise become so dysfunctional? … Lord have mercy.
