Jose Quintana keeps shutting them down

Herro, zero, and a full inside pitch during the Mets' 4-1 win over the Phillies in Game 4 of the National League at Citi Field on Tuesday night:

hero

Francisco Lindor calmly walked around the bases after his game-winning grand slam in the sixth inning. Lindor was the only one remaining stoic as the explosion took place at Citi Field, preparing for perhaps the biggest swing in baseball history, hurting his back and trying not to jump in celebration due to flashbacks of Edwin Diaz. I kept it.

zero

Carlos Estevez, the Phillies' loan addition meant to put out fires, threw 100 mph heat at Lindor and watched the game go up in smoke.

The unsung hero

The five innings and one earned run imposed on Jose Quintana, who didn't allow an earned run in his two postseason starts, were all but forgotten by the end.

Lindor joins Edgardo Alfonzo as the Mets complete a postseason grand slam (sorry Robin Ventura).
