Josh Allen Aims for Super Bowl Glory Despite MVP Recognition

As the 2025 NFL season approaches, Josh Allen stands out as a leading contender for the league MVP after an impressive season with the Buffalo Bills. Yet, amidst the accolades, his eyes remain firmly set on a bigger prize.

“I mean, it’s great to win the MVP, but honestly, I’d trade that for a Super Bowl win any day,” Allen shared during a discussion about his collaboration with the sleep aid brand Natrol. “Winning is what I’m really about.”

He acknowledged that being named MVP is a significant achievement, but it also reflects the team’s success. “If I’m having those MVP conversations, it means we’re winning games, and that’s what matters,” he remarked.

With the 2025 season ahead, Allen seems focused on defending his MVP status, but his motivations are collectively oriented. He noted, “Last year, we worked hard—head down, no distractions. It’s a new year now, and I’m grateful for the recognition, but I want that Super Bowl ring.”

Despite the Bills consistently making playoff appearances since 2019, they’ve faced challenges in reaching the Super Bowl. They’ve battled through two AFC Championship Games, both times falling short against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Every season prompts the same question: how can the Bills breakthrough? It can be a lot to handle, but Allen recognizes it as part of the journey, accepting the pressure that comes with it.

Reflecting on past defeats, he stated, “We can’t dwell on what happened. Yes, we’ve made it far, but we need to learn and keep pushing forward.” He drew parallels to golf, explaining, “Just like in football, sometimes things are out of your control. You can throw the perfect pass, but a bit of wind can change everything.”

Looking forward, Allen emphasized that the only way is up for him and the Bills as they enter the new season with fresh chances to finally capture the Lombardi Trophy.

“I often dream about it,” he revealed. “I see Buffalo in celebration—a parade, everyone coming together. It’s all about visualizing that success. Bringing that trophy home is my ultimate goal.”

On another note, regarding his partnership with Natrol, he expressed, “It’s about supporting a brand I believe in. They’re helping me enhance my performance by prioritizing my health.”

Allen mentioned how typical sleep aids didn’t quite cut it for him, but after trying Natrol upon returning from Italy, he experienced a significant boost in rest quality. “I slept ten hours after just one dose, and it was game-changing,” he noted.

As a quarterback, sharpness is essential, whether while studying plays or during the game. “Good sleep leads to great performance,” he added. He believes that with the right products, he can tackle any time zone adjustments and continue to push his limits on the field.

“It all starts with quality rest,” he concluded. “I want to make sure I’m on top of my game.”
