Herro, Zero and all-out offense during the Jets' 23-20 loss to the Bills on Monday:
hero
Bills quarterback Josh Allen, who has struggled against the Jets' defense in recent years, did a great job of controlling this game, completing 19 of 25 passes for 215 yards, two TDs, and no turnovers.
The unsung hero
Allen Lazard, who has been maligned for dropping some passes this season, had his best game as a Jet, catching six passes for 114 yards in the loss. That included an acrobatic play in which he caught Aaron Rodgers' Hail Mary for 52 yards and scored a TD. Last play of the first half.
zero
Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein missed two short field goals in the second half that would have given the Jets the lead. The first was a 32-yarder late in the third quarter, and the second was a 43-yarder midway through the fourth.
Main status
4: Rodgers' Hail Mary TD against Lazard was the fourth Hail Mary of his career.
quotation
“We're never going to get out of this situation, even if we're 2-4. That's never going to happen. I know the character of that locker room. I know how we're going to respond.”
