Josh Hart, OG Anunoby ‘on course’ to play for Knicks’ Game 7

Game 7 will feature OG Anunoby and Josh Hart.

The Knicks’ two stars are “on track” to play in Sunday’s elimination game against the Pacers at The Garden. According to ESPNto determine which team will face the Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Anunoby missed Game 2 against the Pacers with a left hamstring strain, and Hart suffered an abdominal strain in Friday’s Game 6 loss at Indianapolis.

The Knicks upgraded Anunoby’s status to questionable on Saturday, indicating he intends to play for the team’s season.

The 26-year-old defensive stalwart averaged 16.4 points and 6.8 rebounds in eight playoff games this year.

Hurts is the Knicks’ iron man amid a spate of injuries that have cost Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson and Bojan Bogdanovic seasons.

Hart played the full game in four games during the NBA playoffs, including the first two games of the Pacers series, which the Knicks won at home.

The Knicks lost Game 4 in a playoff-worst 23 minutes, 51 seconds after head coach Tom Thibodeau pulled his starters before the start of the fourth quarter.

Hart, 29, was limited to 30 minutes and 45 seconds Friday as he battled abdominal tension.

He played in 12 playoff games this year, averaging 14.9 points, 11.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists.

Star guard Jalen Brunson is also dealing with issues in his right foot, which appear to be worse than he’s made clear.
