Josh Seiter competing in WOMEN’S weightlifting??

Josh Sater, once the bachelor vying for Kaitlyn Bristowe’s heart on the hit reality show “The Bachelorette,” is now a transgender activist who identifies as a woman.

Alex Stein A producer from “Primetime with Alex Stein” did a crazy interview with a macho man-turned-transgender woman, in which he learned a little too much.

Among all the information gleaned from this encounter was that Saiter believes she should be able to compete in women’s weightlifting.

“Are you thinking about joining a biological women’s sports league? Because I think you’re physically fit. You go to the gym. I think you could make it to the WNBA,” Stein says.

“Basketball’s not my forte,” Sater admits, “like you said before and like I said before, I’ve always been an avid weightlifter, so I’m going to be competing in powerlifting meets.”

Sater also believes the rules surrounding biological males joining girls’ sports teams are “draconian.”

“You have to follow certain rules about the duration of hormone therapy, but generally, if you’ve been on hormone therapy for 12 months, you identify as a woman and are in the process of transitioning, you can compete as a woman,” he explains.

“That’s why I’m going to compete in the powerlifting meet. I’m pretty good at bench press, so I think I can do pretty well there too,” Sater added with a smile.

“Do you think you have an unfair advantage?” Stein asked, clearly concerned.

“Like Leah Thomas and others, I just play by the rules,” Sater replied, adding, “I’m a woman and transgender women are women, so I compete in the women’s division.”
