“The View” co-host Joy Behar expressed concern Tuesday that her ABC talk show and MSNBC host Rachel Maddow’s show could be taken off the air if Donald Trump is re-elected.
“So you said recently that as an outspoken critic you may find yourself a target. Some may think that’s a bit dramatic, but I agree. I think he’s so vindictive that he will go to any lengths, possibly through the IRS or sponsors, to get us and you off the air. How seriously should we take that?” Behar asked.
Maddow told Behar that she isn’t as worried about what Trump might do to her as she is about what he might do to all Americans.
“I don’t think it’s OK for someone to say, ‘Give me all the power you can in this country, so I can use that power to attack other Americans, and I can use that power to attack my lesser enemies at home and destroy them,'” Maddow said. “That’s not a good system for anybody, and I don’t think anybody is safe if that’s the basis for wanting to have more power.”

Maddow said that if Trump were to target her, Behar or any other public figure, it would probably be OK because they have “resources.”
“But I think there is a pattern of him singling out certain individuals and terrorizing them effectively,” Maddow added.
The MSNBC host recently told CNN’s Oliver Darcy that he worries he’ll be sent to the “big” camp if Trump is re-elected.
“And by the way, how can we be so sure that these massive camps that he’s planning are just for migrants? So, yes, I’m worried about myself, but it’s just as much that I’m worried about all of us,” she said.

“I think there’s a bit of an escapist complacency that Trump is only going to attack individuals he’s already targeted. Do you really think he’s going to stop at well-known liberals?,” Maddow told Darcy. “It’s also clear that some in the political establishment think they’ll be safe, and maybe even profitable, if they side with Trump.”
During a November appearance on the show, Behar challenged Trump to attack “The View.”
“Go ahead and do it! Go ahead and do it! We do this show every day! OK, Donald?” Behar said.
Behar also compared it to former President Richard Nixon’s “enemies list” on his show Tuesday, suggesting that getting on it would be an accomplishment.

“When we were on the enemies list, it was a proud moment for some people. Maybe we need to change that,” Behar said.
