“Judge Judy” Sheindlin is ruling on who she wants as the next president. Republican White House candidate Nikki Haley.
“I am proud to support Nikki Haley because she is extremely intelligent, has administrative credentials, and was a great governor,” Sheindlin said in a statement released Tuesday by the Republican presidential candidate's campaign. There is,” he said.
Sheindlin called Haley, a former South Carolina governor and ambassador to the United Nations, “principled” and “thoughtful,” and said Haley has an elusive “quality of true common sense.”
“I truly believe she can restore America and I believe she is the future of this great country,” the television veteran said.
Haley said she was “honored” to have the support of Amazon Freevie's 81-year-old presiding judge, also known as Judy Justice, and called Sheindlin “a serious woman.”
Haley said Sheindlin “has earned the respect of millions of Americans in the courtroom by being thoughtful, fair and honest.”
Sheindlin, who has been the face of the courtroom show “Judge Judy” for 25 years, supported former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg (Democratic Party) in the 2020 White House race.
“I like people who aren't divisive in Washington,” she said at the time.
