The High Court in Edinburgh, Scotland, sentenced former Brad Pitt body double Luke Ford to 16 years in jail Dec. 19.
Ford was convicted on 19 charges relating to violence, sexual assault, threats and abuse of women, according to the Crown Office & Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS). He was convicted on seven rape charges, one of which included behavior called “stealthing.” Stealthing refers to refusing to use a condom without a partner’s knowledge or consent, which constitutes rape. Ford was the first person prosecuted for stealthing in Scotland’s history, according to the COPFS.
Ford talked about being a body double for Pitt while the star was filming in Glasgow for “World War Z,” according to the BBC.

Ford targeted a total of nine female victims over a 12-year period from 2008 to 2020, according to COPFS.
He was found guilty of deliberately having unprotected sex with a victim that had only consented to having intercourse with him with the use of condoms. The woman said she had provided him a condom before having sex and she thought he had used it. Ford later said he had not, proceeding to tell her to use morning after pills or use abortion of she ended up pregnant, according to COPFS.
The woman said she was traumatized by the incident and called Ford’s behavior a “violation.”
Several victims described Ford’s behavior as being controlling and abusive and said they were concerned for their safety, according to COPFS.
“I honestly believe that he’s a serial perpetrator and a master manipulator and there’s many more victims out there,” one of the victims anonymously told STV News. “He genuinely thought he was going to be the next Brad Pitt. I think there were multiple stunt doubles but the way he spun it — it looked like he was Brad Pitt’s one-and-only stunt double.”
“But he became fixated with that time and then he modelled his hair on Brad Pitt, he was quite obsessed with Pitt I would say,” she added.
“Luke Ford is a serial offender who demonstrated no respect for the consent of his victims,” Scotland’s Procurator Fiscal for High Court Sexual Offending Katrina Parkes said, according to COPFS.
“He was prepared to use manipulation, force or threats to carry out his abuse. He showed disregard for the importance of consent between partners,” she continued. (RELATED: Police Launch Sexual Assault Investigation Against Malcolm Barrett: REPORT)
The court handed down a 21-year extended sentence with 16 years in custody against Ford, according to the COPFS. He was also barred from reaching out or attempting to reach out to the victims, and his name was permanently placed on the sex offenders register.
