Judicial Watch Asks Court To Release Biden Audiotapes

Judicial Watch, a government watchdog group, is battling the Department of Justice over audio tapes of conversations between Special Counsel Robert Hur and President Joe Biden.

On Friday, Judicial Watch asked a federal court to release audio tapes of Heo’s interview with Joe Biden for his investigation of classified documents.

The group also is calling on the court to reject attempts by the Department of Justice to change the law. Freedom of Information Act To protect Biden.

Officials said authorities have argued the tapes should be kept secret from the public to protect them from manipulation by AI.

But Judicial Watch argues that it is the Department of Justice that is manipulating what information the public sees about the investigation.

Watchdog groups are asking the court to order the tapes to be made public within two weeks.
