Oscar winner Julia Roberts was one of many Hollywood celebrities who appeared in a free commercial made by Oprah Winfrey for Kamala Harris last week, and in her message, Beautiful woman Starr seemed to inadvertently acknowledge that people in other countries think Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have ruined America.
Roberts said he travels abroad a lot and meets people who seem concerned that the situation in America isn't great.
Roberts explained that she wants people she meets abroad to be happy that she's American, exclaiming, “I want them to say, 'Oh, you're American?'” She added, “Instead of, 'Oh, how is it over there,'” implying that the foreigners she meets don't think the situation in America is great.
“I want to get back to that space,” Roberts concluded, saying she wants foreigners to be happy about their American citizenship.
But who has led the country enough over the past four years to make foreigners sympathize with Americans? None other than Kamala Harris and Joe Biden. Moreover, with only a few brief hiatuses, Democrats have held power in the country since Nancy Pelosi became Speaker in 2007. Republicans have nowhere near the power Democrats have held in Washington for the past 16 years.
Whether intentional or not, Roberts' comments highlighted the failure of nearly two decades of Democratic leadership in the United States.
Roberts wasn't the only one to express dissatisfaction with Oprah's event: Oprah herself seemed a bit annoyed by Kamala Harris' non-answers at the former TV talk show titan's event, which was more like an in-kind donation to the vice president's campaign than a news event.
Oprah seemed particularly upset by Harris' response about the Biden administration's dangerous open border policy: When an audience member asked Harris about “specific steps to strengthen the border,” she launched into a minutes-long rambling response that was so bad Oprah had to step in to save the VP and tell the audience what Harris really meant.
