Julianne Hough’s Relaxing Getaway in Sardinia

Julianne Hough seems to be embracing a slower pace of life, stepping away from the usual chaos.

The 38-year-old, known for co-hosting “Dancing with the Stars,” recently shared moments from an unforgettable girls’ trip to Sardinia, Italy. Her adventures included cliff diving, village exploring, beach time, and seaside workouts.

One snapshot shows Hough relaxing on a beach chair in a white string bikini.

She’s pictured by the water, reclining comfortably, one leg bent. With black sunglasses and a white mesh headscarf framing her short blonde hair, she embodies a carefree vibe, while beachgoers and distant yachts fill the bright blue backdrop.

“I’m still thinking about Sardinia and how special it was to experience it with my daughters,” Hough shared on Instagram. “There’s something about seeing the world with the people you love that makes everything feel a little more alive.”

In this photo, she sits at the edge of a lounge chair, hidden under a rustic canopy, while the scenic view stretches behind her.

“Beauty, food, nature, peace…already dreaming of returning to @resort_erica. Where shall we go next? Who will come?” she mused.

Staying active was also a priority for Hough during her vacation. She even posted a picture practicing yoga on a wooden deck with serene water views.

In her reflections on Sardinia, she shared her admiration for the local nonnas and their zest for life.

“I feel like a stupid American in Europe? I love my job and my ambitions, but when I get older I’d rather be a grandma with a story to tell than wonder if I’ve tried harder than I’ve lived,” Hough noted.

“Thank you @hotelcapodorso for reminding me to slow down, breathe in the salty air, taste the wine, sip my espresso and watch the stories go by,” she posted, expressing gratitude.

Dressing up for the occasion, she swapped her beach attire for a strapless coral pink dress while exploring a picturesque street.

The dress, with a fitted bodice and voluminous skirt, was complemented by a statement gold necklace and strappy heels, capturing the charm of the surroundings.

This vacation was a welcome break for Hough before diving into a busy new season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

She first joined the famed competition as a professional dancer in 2007, and has since taken on roles as a judge and co-host.

Reflecting on the show’s longevity, she mentioned earlier this year that it had faced skepticism initially. “This show got turned down a lot at first…is that really a thing?” Hough recalled.

Now, more than 20 years since its launch, she acknowledges that staying true to its origins has played a crucial role in its success.

“To see this show not only survive 20 years but thrive more than ever…it’s timeless,” she shared, emphasizing the importance of authenticity and the supportive atmosphere of the show.
