The House voted primarily along the party line Thursday to denounce Democrat Texas Rep. Al Greene in the president's joint speech to Congress on Tuesday.
Members voted 224-198 in the final passage Solveddescribes Green's behavior as a “violation of proper conduct” to create “many confusion” within the address. Just ten Democrats voted to denounce Green, and the two voted “present” when the resolution passed. Speaker Mike Johnson has directed House Sergeant to remove Green following his decision to refuse to stop Trump's suspension during the joint address. Johnson denounced Green's antics during his primetime speech as “shady, awful,” urging House Democrats to formally vote for Green. post X Thursday.
“Democrats who are concerned about regaining the trust and respect of the American people should join House Republicans in this effort,” Johnson wrote.

House Democrat leaders appeared to protect Green's actions with Green's democratic whip. I'll say it Reporter: “When the plot is published daily and repeated, don't talk about courtesy.”
While some GOP lawmakers came to the accusation solution after the green explosion, House GOP leadership decided to move forward with what Republican Washington Rep. Dan Newhouse provided.
“Courtesy and order are the institutional basis for the way we do business in the US Congress, and it is unacceptable to ignore that standard in a speech by a gentleman in Texas President Donald Trump,” Newhouse said. Green defended his destructive behavior after removal from the house room.

Trump has consistently said he will not “touch” the qualification program, except for the elimination of waste, fraud and abuse.

The Texas Democrats notably introduced three perpetrators of Trump during his first term, but all resolutions have been submitted.
