Piers Morgan skewed Democrats on Thursday about “pathetic” behaviour during President Donald Trump's speech to Congress.
Democrats protested Trump's speech in the House on Tuesday night, refusing to praise his special guest, along with one lawmaker who was escorted to scream at the president as he spoke. Morgan is “Fox & Friends,” and their antics are “the most pathetic, petty, [and] The shameful actions he witnessed.
“I thought it was one of the most pathetic, petty, shameful things I've ever witnessed and it went on forever. Back [the United Kingdom] We have a council, it gets very rough, very loud, they all have pumps on each other, they lock the corners. What you never see is a 13 year old boy, a brain cancer survivor, who has gone through 12 surgeries I think. Just get up,” Morgan said. “Get up and praise the boy. The fact that they couldn't even do that was just a light-empt thing, I really did.”
“And Democrats should look closely at themselves as they are not standing up for the stupid signs, for these poor families of these murdered people, for the way they handled that boy, the strike, and then the stupid Instagram stuff they did. Morgan claims that Democrats have “lost a conspiracy” since the 2024 election, and that they are currently in a hurry to make a political comeback in future elections. He further said Trump is beating the party on key issues such as women's rights. Democrats can't even support banning women from competing in sports.
“I think [Democrats] I lost the plot,” Morgan continued. “The Democrats have lost their plot. They didn't see this big wind coming for Trump in the election, they've been wiped out completely, they've lost all their strength, they're in a hurry to figure out what they're doing about this. And I think it's an important message that Trump is plunging into the house. [is] America is no longer an awakened country, he is like a pioneer of the revolution of common sense. In his speech, Trump awarded Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, a 13-year-old boy who suffered from brain cancer, in order to realize his dream of becoming a police officer. He praised 12-year-old Joselyn Nungarray and Raiken Riley, who were murdered at the hands of illegal immigrants, and 19-year-old volleyball player Payton McNab, who suffered from traumatic brain damage after competing with transgender-identifying athletes.
The president signed an executive order on Tuesday, renaming the name of Anahuac National Wildlife Reserve after Nungarei to commemorate his love for animals and wildlife. Democrats stood and praised either of these special guests or the families of Riley and Nungarei.
Lawmakers threatened to collectively protest against the speech before starting a former federal employee fired by Government Efficiency (DOGE). Hours before the speech, 22 Democrat senators released the same video on social media, denounced Doge Chairman Elon Musk and the high prices of eggs.
Many council members too held Sign up during your speeches with “Musk Steals” and “Save Medicaid.”
White House spokesman Caroline Leavitt said in a briefing Wednesday that he portrayed Democrats as a “party of hatred” that refused to praise special guests. She accused MSNBC host Nicole Wallace of invoking a 13-year-old cancer patient to criticize Trump for the January 6, 2021 Capitol riots.
