Justice Department is said to have started a grand jury investigation into Russiagate

Justice Department Probes Allegations in “Russiagate” Conspiracy

The Justice Department has initiated a significant grand jury investigation concerning claims involving Democratic officials in what is referred to as “Russiagate.” This information comes from a source aligned with Fox News Digital.

On Monday, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi confirmed that her team is spearheading this grand jury inquiry. National Intelligence Director Tarsi Gabbard reportedly issued a criminal referral based on documents that suggest the investigation into President Donald Trump was aimed at influencing the election.

Gabbard has voiced her concerns, stating, “I have witnessed firsthand the self-serving strategies of those who prioritize ambition and influence over their constitutional oath.”

The memo from Gabbard is titled “Intelligence Community Restraints to Intelligence,” which asserts that “Russia and criminals had no impact” on the outcome of the 2016 presidential election concerning cyberattacks on infrastructure.

She also accused former President Barack Obama and his administration of propagating the narrative that Russia intervened to assist Trump in winning the 2016 election, presenting it as a factual account to the American public.

A representative from the Justice Department declined to comment directly on the grand jury’s investigation. However, Bondi was described as taking Gabbard’s memo “very seriously,” with indications that she sees substantial cause for concern regarding the allegations.

While no charges have been filed as of yet, this grand jury inquiry may pave the way for future charges related to the case.

In an interview with Glenn Beck, Gabbard reiterated her commitment to upholding the Constitution, stating, “Like many others, I have pledged to protect that constitution through service. This responsibility is significant, and I approach it with purpose.”
