Justin Amash announces US Senate bid

Former U.S. Representative Justin Amash from Michigan has announced his candidacy for the Senate and indicated his intention to compete in the Republican primary.

“After a thorough evaluation of all aspects of a potential campaign, I believe that no candidate is better positioned to win both the Republican primary and general election.
