Justin Bieber Returns to the Grammys Stage

Justin Bieber made a notable comeback at the 2026 Grammy Awards, marking his first major performance in nearly four years.

The singer, known for “Daisies,” took the stage in Los Angeles on Sunday night. He delivered a performance of “Boyfriend,” showcasing his many tattoos while dressed only in sparkly boxer shorts. It was a bold choice, to say the least.

Interestingly, he seemed to wear socks as he strummed a purple guitar during a more understated acoustic set, with his wife, Hailey, looking on in the audience.

As he concluded the song, he simply wandered off the stage without a dramatic exit.

Bieber, now 31, has made appearances over the past few years but hadn’t performed on a big scale since the end of his 2022 Justice World Tour.

This tour kicked off in February 2022 but was cut short in September of the same year due to health issues. He had openly discussed his struggle with Ramsay Hunt Syndrome, which resulted in partial facial paralysis.

After a period of recovery and consultations with his doctors, he attempted to resume his tour in Europe, performing six shows that ultimately proved too taxing for him.

“I’m going to get better. I’m doing all these facial exercises to get my face back to normal, and then it’ll get back to normal,” he shared in an Instagram video during that time. His optimism was palpable, even if the timeline for recovery felt uncertain.

Recently, he surprised fans by making a guest appearance with SZA during Kendrick Lamar’s Grand National Tour in Los Angeles last May.

While there, Bieber and the “Saturn” singer performed the “Snooze” remix, sharing a sweet moment that included him kissing SZA’s hand on stage.

His appearance at the Grammys sets a stage for his upcoming headline performance at Coachella in April. Reports have suggested he secured a hefty $10 million as a headliner, managing this without an agent after parting ways with Scooter Braun.

Bieber is expected to perform tracks from his album “Swag,” released on July 11. Alongside it, a follow-up album titled “Swag II” came out on September 5, featuring heartfelt songs about his relationship with Hailey, including titles like “I Do” and “Mother in You.”
