Justin Herbert and Madison Beer are parting ways.
On Saturday, the star quarterback for the Chargers attended a pre-Grammy Awards party in Los Angeles alongside the pop artist.
Mr. Herbert, 27, sported a dark suit over a white shirt, while Ms. Beer, 26, dazzled in a strapless dress featuring a high slit.
Herbert and Beer were first linked last summer when the NFL player was seen at her music video shoot in Los Angeles.
They’ve made several public appearances together, with Beer even supporting Herbert at a Chargers game this season.
In a December interview on “Call Her Daddy,” Beer expressed her feelings about her relationship with Herbert, saying, “I feel like I’m being taken care of, so if I break down, I’m okay, and I have someone to rely on. I think that’s important.”
Herbert just wrapped up his sixth year with the Chargers, helping the team to a playoff berth after achieving an 11-6 record.
Unfortunately, their playoff journey was short-lived, as they lost to New England 16-3 in the wild card round.
Herbert, who fractured his left hand in Week 13, remains 0-3 in playoff appearances.
Following that defeat, the Chargers made significant changes by firing offensive coordinator Greg Roman and hiring former Dolphins coach Mike McDaniel as his successor.
In a press conference last week, McDaniel shared his approach for working with Herbert, noting, “It’s crucial that we don’t depend too heavily on Justin’s talent exceeding our expectations to seize opportunities. One of the first things we’ll aim to do is to ease his load a bit so he can shine when it’s necessary.”
