A commercial featuring Justin Timberlake and members of *NSYNC promoting responsible drinking has resurfaced following the singer’s DUI arrest.
This commercial aired during the 2001 Super Bowl. Share on TikTok and other social media platforms.
In the ad, a dad opens his door to find a boy band consisting of Timberlake, Lance Bass, Joey Fatone, Chris Kirkpatrick and JC Chasey standing on his doorstep.
Bass introduced the band, saying, “Hey, what’s up, we’re *NSYNC,” to which Kirkpatrick added, “Do you know this group called *NYSNC?”

“We’re just going door to door to say thank you,” Timberlake explained, leaving the father confused, before Fatone chimed in, saying the thank you was to talk to their kids about sobriety.
“No matter how successful we are, parents have a bigger influence on their kids than we do,” Chasez said, continuing with the statistic that parents are the number one group kids hear about drinking.
The punchline of the Budweiser-sponsored ad is a father casually telling his pre-teen daughter that there is a group of men at their front door, rattling off their names and “something about a sink,” causing the daughter to scream and run out into the street after them.

“The ultimate irony!” said a third.

Authorities say Timberlake, 43, failed to stop at a stop sign and failed to drive on the proper side of the road before pulling over. Police documents obtained by Fox News Digital said Timberlake had “bloodshot, shiny” eyes, “a strong odor of alcoholic beverages on his breath” and “had difficulty distributing his attention.” He also “spoke slowly” and “stood unsteady on his gait,” and performed poorly on standard field sobriety tests.
According to the documents, Timberlake said he had only had one martini and was following his friends home. After his arrest, he was taken to the East Hampton police station where he refused to take a Breathalyzer test.
