Kai Trump shares experience of an allergic reaction scare during the Masters Tournament

Medical Scare for Kai Trump at Masters Tournament

Kai Trump, granddaughter of former President Donald Trump, recently shared a concerning experience during her visit to the Masters Tournament. In a video blog, she described a “scary” medical incident that occurred while she was at Augusta National Golf Club earlier this month.

As she was preparing for her first major golf event of the year, an unfortunate allergic reaction cut her Georgia trip short. It turns out that the hand soap she used on her face triggered the reaction. “When I was at Augusta, I was using hand soap on my face to remove my makeup, and I started getting bumps on my neck,” she explained in her vlog.

At just 18 years old, she found herself in need of medical attention. Doctors eventually administered steroid injections to help manage the allergic response. “The rash is gone now, but it was very, very scary,” Kai said, acknowledging her sensitive skin.

Once the rash settled down, it seemed that Kai could enjoy the rest of her time in Augusta. She even posted a photo on Instagram alongside fellow YouTuber and golfer Bryson DeChambeau, along with his caddy, Greg Bodine. However, DeChambeau had a tough week at the tournament, finishing 6 over in the first two days and missing the cut.

Ultimately, Rory McIlroy continued his impressive form by retaining the green jacket after two consecutive victories. He finished with a score of 11 under par, just one stroke behind Scottie Scheffler.

Meanwhile, Kai is getting ready to start her college journey at the University of Miami this fall, where she’ll compete on the women’s golf team. Currently a senior at Benjamin School in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, she’s been looking forward to her upcoming senior prom, as mentioned in her latest vlog.
