Kaley Cuoco Critiques Ashley Tisdale’s Mom Group Controversy
During a recent episode of “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,” Kaley Cuoco expressed her thoughts on Ashley Tisdale’s “toxic” mom group drama.
The “Big Bang Theory” star spoke out against an essay Tisdale wrote for The Cut back in January, while responding to a fan’s query about the controversy.
“If you don’t want to stay in a group, just leave,” Cuoco remarked. “I really don’t think we need to discuss it further,” she added, conveying her views succinctly.
Cohen immediately affirmed her stance, agreeing that the situation didn’t warrant highlighting it in an essay. “Just leave… find a new group,” Cuoco further suggested.
Tisdale recently made headlines after alleging that some of her former friends’ mothers—like Hilary Duff, Meghan Trainor, and Mandy Moore—excluded her from their gatherings.
In her essay, Tisdale indicated she distanced herself from the group because the dynamics had turned unhealthy. Though she didn’t name anyone directly, it was clear tensions were high, as she no longer follows Duff and Moore on Instagram.
Representatives for Tisdale have denied any intention to target Duff or Moore in her essay. Nonetheless, soon after her writing was published, backlash ensued as group members reacted with their own contentious remarks.
Matthew Koma, Duff’s husband, publicly labeled Tisdale’s comments as “self-centered” and “tone-deaf.” A source later added that Tisdale was considered “intolerable” and mentioned that the tension among friends had been brewing for quite some time.
“Matthew gave her what she wanted,” the source concluded, hinting at unresolved issues within the group.
