Kamala Harris ‘berated staff’ with ‘F-bombs’: report

A shocking report claims Kamala Harris “used the F-word frequently” and constantly berated staff while she was California’s Attorney General.

Excavated 2019 Editorial In an interview with California newspaper The Union, Professor Terry McAteer described the “eye-opening” month his son Gregory spent as an intern for Harris, who is now the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

McAteer, who has generations of political ties to the Democratic Party, argued that his son had been exposed to “a side of Kamala Harris that the general public doesn’t know.”

“Harris continually uses the ‘F-word’ and other foul language in her diatribes to staff and others,” McAteer wrote.

“As Attorney General … Harris instructed all staff members to stand up and say, ‘Good morning, General,’ when they entered their office each morning.

“Mr Gregory was also instructed never to speak to or make eye contact with Mr Harris as this is a privilege reserved only for senior staff.”

The article, titled “The Other Side of Kamala Harris,” also claims that when Gregory served as California’s attorney general from 2011 to 2017, staff were “totally afraid” of her and did not offer to make introductions on her behalf.

Terence and Gregory McAteer could not be reached for comment Thursday, and a representative for Harris did not immediately respond to The Washington Post’s questions.

McAteer added that he “bears no grudge” against Harris, but that he did not demonstrate the quality leadership or supervisory qualities he would expect during his son’s summer internship.

Red State Report Gregory’s LinkedIn page, which appears to now be deleted, listed him as working as a “public policy intern” for Harris from June to August 2011.

A screenshot of his page quoted by the magazine read, “I helped research and analyze federal crime statistics in support of the Attorney General’s Tactical Smart Crime Initiative.”

After Harris became Joe Biden’s vice president in 2021, she was called a “bully” by staff who worked for her.

“It’s clear that they’re not working with anyone who’s willing to put in the preparation and work,” the former staffer said. He told The Washington Post in December of that year..

“In Kamala’s case, she has to constantly endure crushing criticism and her own lack of confidence. So it’s like she’s constantly supporting the bullies and I don’t really understand why.”

McAteer’s op-ed was published by OpenTheBooks.com, a self-described “government watchdog group.” Reported last week Harris said staff turnover within the vice president’s office has reached 91.5 percent.

According to the site, this figure is significantly higher than the 77% staff turnover rate during President Joe Biden’s tenure and the 72% turnover rate during former President Donald Trump’s tenure.

Citing payroll records, the group said that as of March 31, 2024, of the 47 original staff members hired in Harris’ first year as vice president in 2021, only four were still working for her “continuously and uninterruptedly.”

Harris has reportedly continued campaigning for the presidency after Biden sensationally dropped out of the race on July 21 and now has a staff of 50 working for her.

Former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy this week He told Fox News While working for Harris, “nobody lasts long.”

“Even as vice president, you couldn’t keep your staff if you didn’t do anything,” he said during an appearance on “Life, Liberty and Levin.”

“How she treats the people around her is a real indicator of what she’ll do in the future.”
