Kamala Harris Changes Accents on Similar Lines at Campaign Stops Just Hours Apart

Vice President Kamala Harris delivered similar lines during her campaign speeches, but then changed her accent again just hours apart, adopting a more urbane accent in Detroit and then reverting to a more rustic one while campaigning in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, raising further questions about her authenticity, or lack thereof.

Harris made headlines on Monday when she ignored reporters by wearing earphones on her way to a speech in Detroit, Michigan, but the moment was quickly forgotten when her voice took on an urban accent during the speech.

“If you give your union members sick leave, you should be grateful! If you give your union members paid leave, you should be grateful! If you give your union members time off, you should be grateful!” Harris said. In another video, she is seen pointing at a member of the audience and saying, with a chuckle, “Let's get through these next 64 days,” exaggerating.

“I've lived in Michigan for 35 years and I can assure you no one speaks like that. Her accent is as fake as her candidacy,” one X user said. said.

Just hours later, Harris delivered a similar line in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but without her urban accent, it sounded noticeably different.

“I'm grateful to the union for giving me sick leave. I'm grateful to the union for giving me paid family leave. I'm grateful to the union for giving me vacation time,” she said.

Another clip shows Harris pronouncing “64th,” which is also worlds apart.

“Kamala's symptoms of sudden urban accent syndrome seem to have disappeared,” says one X user. said.

“She's copying Hillary and we all know how that turned out for her,” said another. pointed out.

In fact, Hillary Clinton, the two-time presidential loser, is known for changing her accent to suit her audience.

Flashback:

But this is nothing new for Harris, who demonstrated her fake Southern accent while campaigning in Georgia and continues to do so in other parts of the country.
