Kamala Harris Debuts Spanish Accent at Univision Town Hall

Vice President Kamala Harris debuted a Spanish accent Thursday at a Univision town hall event, ditching the fake Southern accent she sometimes uses.

The accent has raised concerns about Harris' integrity. Voters often align themselves with politicians who are not genuine.

“First of all, thank you for your question. I hope your family and your home are safe,'' he said, using the word “okay'' with a hint of Spanish.

X's critics, including Andy Go, Greg Price, and the MAGA War Room, were quick to slam Harris for her new accent.

This isn't the first time Harris has used a fake accent when speaking to voters. Speaking to autoworkers in Detroit, Michigan in August, Harris said in a fake Southern accent:

During a campaign rally in Georgia in July, she also used Twang.

“And you helped us win in 2020, and we're going to win again in 2024,” Harris said. “yes i will.”

As far back as 2019, Harris used a fake twang accent. “Look, there's a lot at stake in this election. I've said many times that justice is on the line in 2020,” Harris said. “It's about economic justice. It's about justice for our kids. It's about justice for our teachers.”

“The question is not, 'What is a fight?'” Harris added with an accent. “The question is, 'How do we win?'”

In 2021, many accused the vice president of faking a French accent in Paris. “Scientists make hypotheses and act on them, and I love that,” she said. “Along with those of us in government, we are campaigning for ‘The Plan,’” she continued. “Capital T, capital P. “The Plan.” ”
