Kamala Harris Dodges Debating Donald Trump in Third Proposed Matchup

Vice President Kamala Harris on Thursday rejected a proposal by former President Donald Trump to hold a third debate.

On August 8, Harris declined to answer whether she would accept Trump’s three-debate challenge, but promised to only attend two of the events, according to a statement from her campaign.

Harris debated Trump on NBC News on September 10 and has agreed to debate him again in October.

Trump has offered to debate Harris on Fox News on September 4, NBC News on September 10 and ABC News on September 25.

Trump withdrew from the race under intense pressure from his party after a debate with Joe Biden, then the presumptive Democratic presidential nominee.

Harris also said she would allow Gov. Tim Walz to attend only one debate with Sen. J.D. Vance, who has proposed meeting with Walz twice.

Waltz is surely Terrible debater.

“Tim Walz refuses to deploy!” Vance posted on X following the Harris campaign’s announcement.
