Kamala Harris is facing backlash from Democrats following a CNN interview over her answers about military policy towards Israel.
Kamala Harris is already facing uncertainty.
Democratic presidential nominee Kamala Harris is facing a serious crisis with the pro-Palestinian wing of her party after she reiterated her and President Joe Biden's Israel policy in a CNN interview on Thursday.
CNN's Dana Bash asked Harris about arms policy toward Israel on Thursday night. Harris initially avoided a direct question about the possibility of withholding “some” arms supplies to Israel, as the pro-Palestinian Unfettered Movement has been demanding for seven months, but Bash didn't let her off the hook. When asked if there would be “any changes to arms or other policy” toward Israel, Harris replied “no,” drawing sharp rebukes from prominent pro-Palestinian figures, including Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.).
The reaction and fallout highlights and exacerbates a larger problem for Harris, whose base is divided as the election draws to a close. More than half a million voters who protested the Biden-Harris administration by voting “unconstrained” in the Democratic primary continue to threaten and scare away from voting in November unless there's a sudden change in policy or a ceasefire. The movement includes Arab Americans, Muslims, young voters and far-left progressives.
“The Democratic presidential nominee, who is the Democratic nominee for the Democratic nominee, has been a key player in the Democratic presidential race for the past 10 years. He has been a key player in the Democratic presidential nominee's presidential nomination for the past 10 years. He has been a key player in the Democratic …
Democratic Rep. Rashida Tlaib denounced her.

Others were not pleased with her response.
Kamala Harris' response on Israel was awful. If you say you never question Israel's funding or the weapons we send you, then by definition you are not doing everything in your power to bring about a ceasefire. If you don't use your influence, then you are speaking empty words.

According to a CBS report, 61% of Americans oppose Israel's use of weapons in its attack on Gaza, including 77% of Democrats, 75% of black people, and 66% of women. It's time for Vice President Harris to align herself with the majority of Americans. https://t.co/2AyG5ZBiKA

Harris avoided a direct question from CNN's Dana Bash about whether there would be a change in policy on Gaza between her and Biden, simply repeating that “the deal has to get done.”
Oh, by the way, Naomi And I argued #NoShock Today, Harris and Biden can enforce the agreement…
