Vice President Kamala Harris’ inner circle throughout her political rise has been somewhat similar to President Biden’s: Among her closest aides are her own family members: Vice President Doug Emhoff, her sister Maya Harris, and her niece Meena.
Meena Harris, 39, is a Stanford- and Harvard-educated lawyer, a children’s book author, a media executive who owns the feminist satire site Reductress, and a TikTok influencer with more than 2.2 million followers.
She has consistently used the megaphone to promote her aunt, especially since Kamala Harris became the leading contender for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Meena is also the president of Phenomenal Media, a media company that produces liberal-leaning films and theatre productions.
Her latest project is supporting transgender social media star Dylan Mulvaney’s one-man show “F-hag.”
The show, which premieres this week at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the UK, is described as “a group of former handsome guys trying out new labels as they reflect on dating, delusions and God through storytelling, stand-up and a musical number or two.”
Mulvaney, of course, was famously at the center of a massive backlash against Bud Light after the company partnered with her on social media to celebrate her “100 Days of Womanhood.” The massive boycott caused by Mulvaney’s ad cost the company up to $1.4 billion in lost sales.

Other Liberal Projects
This is just the latest liberal media project for Meena, who is one of Kamala Harris’ biggest supporters.

She previously said that she was inspired to become a children’s author in part because there weren’t enough diverse characters in the genre.

Meena and Kamala’s “super close” relationship
The entrepreneur described his relationship with his aunt as “very close” and featured Kamala Harris as a character in his children’s book.

Since Biden dropped out of the 2024 presidential race and endorsed his aunt, Meena has posted Biden’s withdrawal tweet, a New York Times/Siena poll showing the vice president in a close race with former President Donald Trump, and a photo of Kamala Harris and one of her daughters with the caption “Auntie time.”
She has previously said that while she doesn’t necessarily share the same views as her aunt or Biden, she believes it’s important to amplify certain issues online.
“I chose to participate in election campaigns and discuss political issues. I’m not Kamala. I am who I am. “I may have a different opinion than she does, and maybe Joe does too, but I think people just want their opinion to be heard. That’s what it comes down to. People want a way to communicate, a way to want their opinion to be heard, and I respect that. And I think it’s important to remind yourself that it’s usually not personal,” says Meena Harris.
