Vice President Kamala Harris said she is “ready to take office” as concerns about President Biden’s age and mental health continue to grow, especially among members of his own party.
Harris made the remarks last week in a recent interview ahead of Thursday’s release of special counsel Robert Hur’s report on Biden’s mishandling of classified documents.
“I’m ready to serve. There’s no question about that,” Harris said. told the Wall Street JournalShe added that everyone who observes her work “walks away fully aware of my leadership abilities.”

“It’s close to or the largest television audience, and you get a chance to get a 20-25 minute interview that day,” Carville said. “So you don’t do that? That’s kind of a sign that the staff, or yourself, don’t have a lot of confidence in you. There’s no other way than reading this.”
Another former Clinton strategist, Paul Begala, said Mr. Ha’s accusations about Mr. Biden’s memory and Mr. Biden’s subsequent response were “terrible for the Democratic Party.”

Also, ahead of the release of the Hur report, former Secretary of State and 2016 Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton acknowledged that Biden’s age was a “legitimate issue.”
