Kamala Harris Turns to Hollywood Hype Machine Amid Alarming Election Poll Numbers

A huge Hollywood cadre of corporate executives, publicists, celebrity influencers and entertainment “journalists” are mobilizing to help Kamala Harris win the November presidential election, with a particular focus on targeting minority women, according to multiple reports.

Though Kamala Harris faces persistent unpopularity among rank-and-file voters, she is seen as a second coming by many in the Hollywood elite who revered her from her days in California. Now the vice president is using her entertainment ties not just to raise money but to generate hype and fake cultural waves in the hopes of making her way to the White House.

“We are excited to do all we can to support Vice President Harris’ historic request,” said George Clooney. statement To Hill.

“All the women I know at Disney are overjoyed right now,” says one anonymous industry source. Claimed “It feels like a really exciting moment,” he told The Wrap.

“Hollywood celebrities are lining up behind her as if she were the second coming,” Donald Critchlow, a professor of political history and director of the Center for American Institutions at Arizona State University, told The Hill.

Minority women are a particular target for Harris, and Hollywood is helping her reach them.

On Sunday, the same day that Joe Biden announced he would not seek reelection, Kamala Harris participated in a livestream call with about 40,000 minority women, including many Hollywood professionals, as reported by The Wrap.

The purpose of the meeting, it seems, was for Team Kamala to give their Hollywood allies their marching orders.

“The instruction was, ‘OK, guys, let’s get in line,'” an anonymous journalist on the call was quoted as saying. “This is something that has to be done and we can’t fail.”

Kamala Harris has already landed a big donation from Netflix’s Reed Hastings, who donated $7 million to help her win.

Several notable Hollywood fundraisers, including George Clooney and Rob Reiner, have also publicly endorsed Harris, and numerous celebrity influencers, including Mark Ruffalo, Bette Midler and John Legend, have already fully endorsed her.
