Former President Donald Trump’s campaign exclusively told Breitbart News on Thursday that Trump, unlike Vice President Kamala Harris, will “go after bloodthirsty terrorists” like the ones Israel targeted earlier this week.
The statement came after successful Israeli airstrikes against Iranian-backed terrorists, including Hezbollah’s number two, Fouad Shukr (aka al-Hajj Mohsin), and Hamas political leader Ismail Haniyeh. Shukr, who died in the Beirut airstrike, was not only responsible for Saturday’s rocket attack that killed 12 Israeli children playing soccer, but was also involved in the 1983 bombing of a US Marine barracks in Beirut, which killed 241 US soldiers. Haniyeh was killed in an airstrike in Tehran, the Iranian capital.
The Trump campaign said through national spokeswoman Carolyn Leavitt:
Harris-Biden’s failed foreign policy has weakened our country while strengthening our enemies, leading us to war in Ukraine and the Middle East. Kamala Harris has yet to acknowledge Israel’s removal of one of Hamas’ top leaders after a heinous attack by Israeli Hamas left 12 innocent Israeli children dead. The world would undoubtedly be a much more dangerous place if dangerously liberal Kamala Harris were given the keys to the Oval Office and handed the codes to nuclear weapons. Only President Trump can restore peace through force, end the Ukraine war, bankrupt Iran again, and hunt down the bloodthirsty terrorists who seek to prey on innocent Israelis and Americans.
The campaign statement repeated remarks Trump made at a rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Wednesday night.

Our enemies have seen time and time again that Biden and Harris have shown complete weakness, a lack of willingness to do what is necessary to protect the American people and stand up for our allies. A week ago, the Prime Minister of Israel, our closest Middle Eastern ally, came to address Congress. You saw it. Instead of sending a clear signal that America will never abandon its allies, and a very important one at that, Kamala chose to politicize the occasion, to overplay it, to pretend not to attend. Do you know where she was? She was at a sorority. Can you believe it? Even though it was her duty as President of the Senate to be there. It was her duty to be there. Her Democratic allies complied. Chuck Schumer refused to shake hands with the Prime Minister of Israel. Chuck Schumer has become a Palestinian. Yes, he has. Can you believe it? He has become a proud member of Hamas. Nancy Pelosi also denounced the speech in shameful terms. You see, 15 years ago, Israel was the most powerful and influential lobby in this country. Now it’s almost the opposite. AOC+3 and the whole public are really our country’s enemies. But they are the enemies. They saw people abandoning Israel and took notice. I don’t think it’s a coincidence that just four days after Harris and Biden rejected Israel’s ally, Iran’s top terrorist organization, Hezbollah, fired an Iranian missile and killed 12 innocent children on a soccer field in northern Israel. It was a [Biden] left [the race]He walked away very embarrassed. The terrorists did it because they thought they could get away with it. Because America is weak, ineffective, and no longer respected. We are no longer respected. We are a failed state. It’s so awful. You don’t want to say it. I wish I didn’t have to. I wish I could say they’re doing a great job. I’m not going to run. I’m not going to run. I don’t need to run. I’d be very happy if someone did a great job, and I wouldn’t have to run. And I’d be very happy about that. I’d be very proud of our country. But now our country is a laughing stock. It’s laughed at all around the world. The truth is, the weakness of Harris and Biden is that they’re inviting all the rogue enemies around the world to murder and never get punished.
As a senator, Harris criticized then-President Trump’s decision to remove Iranian terrorist Gen. Qassem Soleimani.
“While Soleimani was an enemy of the United States, President Trump’s actions put many more American lives at risk and risk sparking a new war in the Middle East. There is no plan for what happens next. The Administration needs to make a full case to Congress, and quickly.”

Trump has previously pointed to four years of peace in the Middle East during his presidency, when he supported Israel and confronted Iran and its allies and proxies. The Abraham Accords peace agreements that Trump launched have not seen a single country join since Biden took office in 2021, while conflicts have erupted across the region.
