Democratic Senate candidates in the blue wall states of Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin all support the same Donald Trump they voted to impeach, so they have nothing to do with Kamala Harris. I don't want it either.
In Pennsylvania, incumbent Sen. Bob Casey (D), who twice voted to remove President Trump from office, has found himself in a tougher re-election battle than anyone expected. A seat that was widely considered a safe Democratic seat just a few weeks ago appears to be on the decline.
Four weeks ago, Casey led Republican challenger Dave McCormick by 4.4 percentage points, according to the Real Clear Politics (RCP) average of Pennsylvania polls. Today he's up by a small margin 1.9 points. So suddenly mean Casey doesn't think Trump is so terrible.
Casey “even accepted President Trump's tariff policy'' report of hillAnd his “campaign last week described him as an 'Independent,' touting his 'opposition' to the Biden administration to protect fracking and 'standing with Trump to end NAFTA.' We launched an advertisement.”
“Casey's ads have no political party affiliation. I don't recall ever seeing one that said 'Democrat' or anything like that.” He's running as an incumbent on his own record,” said the director of the Franklin Marshall College Public Opinion Research Center. hill.

In Wisconsin, incumbent Sen. Tammy Baldwin (D) is also watching her once-comfortable lead slip away. Four weeks ago, Baldwin held a 4.6-point lead over Republican businessman Eric Hovde. RCP average. Today, that lead has shrunk to just two points.
Baldwin also twice voted to remove President Trump from office, but suddenly the bad Orangeman doesn't seem so bad anymore.
Baldwin “launched an ad highlighting a bill signed by President Trump that would require domestic infrastructure projects to use American steel instead of Chinese steel.” report of hill. “Tammy Baldwin got President Trump to sign the Made in America Act and then got President Biden to make it permanent,” the ad proudly says.
Last Thursday, when Ms. Harris arrived in Wisconsin for her third campaign trip, Mr. Baldwin was in the wind and wanted nothing to do with her, not even greeting her at the airport.

Enter Michigan, where Rep. Elyse Slotkin (D) was once considered a front-runner for the state's vacant U.S. Senate seat. But four weeks ago, he had a 5.1 point lead over former Michigan Rep. Mike Rogers in the RCP average, and now he has a narrow 5.1 point lead. 2.1 points.
Mr. Slotkin voted impeach As a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Trump is currently waging a “soft-pedal attack on Trump” and “didn't mention Trump in the last debate…until the end of time.” around of hill.
This great irony didn't go unnoticed by President Trump, who pointed it out to Breitbart's Matt Boyle in an interview over the weekend:
They have a senator who voted to impeach me, a Democrat, and they're Democrats, and now they're bragging about my policies, and they're saying that their policies are radical left and good. Since we didn't have it, we had to make use of it. So now they're featuring an ad that says I was in favor of tariffs, like President Trump. I was in favor of this and that. And no one had ever seen anything quite like this, but they weren't. I mean, they weren't. ”
What's particularly interesting about this is the fact that these three Republican Senate candidates were running behind Trump by 3 to 5 points in their respective states. So what we have here is another sign of real momentum, not just for President Trump, but for the Republican ticket as a whole.
I'm not making any predictions, but I do recognize that these three candidates are separated by a few points, with Trump leading Harris by less than a point in these states. Still, look at the trends. Everything is going according to Mr. Trump's wishes, and the Harris campaign's activities have not been able to reset the election the way conventions and debates can.
Meanwhile, as Ms. Harris tries to get her message across, her own allies in the corporate media rage over Mr. Trump's victory at McDonald's, drowning out her voice for the third day. .
Mr. Trump needs to remain calm. If the polls are right, this is a race he should lose. All he has to do is not lose it.
