Kamala’s filibuster fails as Bret Baier shreds her cowardly campaign strategy

While The Hill certainly can't be accused of being in Donald Trump's corner and, as far as I know, has been leaning to the left throughout this presidential campaign, its reporters are quick to point out that Kamala Harris told us he ruined his interview with Bret Baier. Fox News. The Hills explanation The word “disaster” was used multiple times in the interview to emphasize the truly frightening nature of Harris' clumsy attempts to address Baier's questions.

In contrast to the completely disingenuous defense that much of the left-wing corporate media has received for the vice president, The Hill went on to explain that the American media is to blame for Kamala's interview debacle.

Even though Mr. Baier appeared to get in Harris' way many times, he had good reason to do so. She was filibustering.

According to The Hill, traditional media was unwilling to ask serious questions of the vice president. The media avoided asking her these obvious things, which Baier brought up in a brief 20-minute interview that Kamala's handlers granted him. For example, when did she learn that the president she served had senile dementia? For years, Harris has shown that she has grasped that obvious reality. I never said it. She continued to praise Joe Biden's acumen until the moment Democratic kingmakers made her their presidential candidate. Friendly media should have asked Kamala why she hid Biden's vulnerability. If the media had done their job, she might have given a reasonable answer to Mr. Baier's questions.

This interview raised another question for me. Why did Kamala's leaders allow her to undergo the ordeal of an unscripted interview?

Their candidates have been tied or maybe even slightly ahead of Mr. Trump for about two months, allowing them to use up the time without subjecting Ms. Harris to a systematic attack by her relentlessly probing interviewers. It might have been. It's obvious now that she's not thinking for herself. And she's already “unburdened” herself with more than one embarrassing word salad when responding to a very friendly talk show host. Her advisors would have thought it best not to put her in a tougher situation than her paycheck. (I think we can agree with Trump that this woman is not very smart.)

The last time Ms. Harris clearly went beyond a tightly controlled situation was during her debate with Mr. Trump in September. However, she was still allowed to speak the lines she had memorized, mostly portraying her opponents as fascist demons. And this discussion took place under the auspices of a biased moderator who acted as if he were Kamala's loving babysitter.

I suspect her trainers agreed to a short interview with Beyer because they thought it would be a win-win situation. Her appearance on Fox News will give the impression that she is reaching out to Republicans in the same way that President Trump has entered deep blue areas to appeal to potential voters. Dew. Presumably, at least some FOX viewers (anti-Trump Republicans) may vote yes. The time allowed for those interviews continued to shrink from 30 minutes to about 20 minutes, so Camara was never exposed to the unknown for too long.

Additionally, her reps speculated that Kamala would be able to survive the abbreviated interview by revisiting the anti-Trump rhetoric she dutifully used during the debate. Note that her most animated response to Mr. Baier's questions was a restatement of the statements she had made about Trump. So she returned to the same vitriol, even if it had nothing to do with the questions Mr. Baier asked during the interview. No matter how many times Bayer seemed to get in her way, he had good reason to do so. Harris was filibustering. Instead, she began an anti-Trump rant as the interrogation progressed, which made it difficult to conduct the interview.

Perhaps the main factor in Harris and her team's interviews was the selection of interviewers. Mr. Baier is a celebrity on the Republican-leaning channel, but he is not known for his affection for Donald Trump. He never shied away from pursuing Trump's claims that he won the 2020 presidential election. He also said, “Common points” Along with the Democratic Party.

If I were a Democrat and had decided to be interviewed on a Republican channel, I would have loved to have Mr. Baier as my questioner. But what happened was nothing like Harris expected. Baier, taking full credit for himself, asked tough, well-phrased questions and tried to keep his interviewees from letting his anti-Trump vitriol take over. That, and support for unrestricted abortion rights nationwide for women, remain Kamala's only talking points. She lectures listeners at length with a salad of incomprehensible words.

As expected, the left-wing media focused on Baier's failure to do what was expected of her, which helped get Harris elected. However, Mr. Baier did not release the quarry. This decision should be praised.
