Country Star Kane Brown Hospitalized After Golf Accident
Country musician Kane Brown was recently hospitalized due to serious injuries, but he expressed gratitude for being alive. On Tuesday, he shared a series of images detailing the unfortunate incident.
In his initial Instagram story, Brown revealed, “Golf ball hit me in the head,” and included a photo showing his ear. In a follow-up post, he described the injury as “just a scratch,” but then noted that things might “probably get even worse over the next 48 hours.” Despite the pain, he emphasized, “I’m alive and that’s all that matters… total crap,” in a third update.
Brown provided more context about the accident, mentioning that it was his friend’s mishap, saying his buddy felt terrible. “A lot of people think the ball went over multiple fairways. No, this was my buddy,” he explained. He continued, “I went to the hospital… my ear was torn open and a little swollen… I sliced it on a three-wood on a ball going about 150 to 180 miles per hour… I’m so glad to be here.”
His wife, Caitlin, shared additional updates the following day. She clarified that the golf ball’s speed was significant, recalling, “This wasn’t a golf ball that was flying through the air and losing momentum.” Thankfully, the CT scan showed no internal injuries and only a mild concussion, which brought relief to both of them.
Due to the injury, Brown had to miss the Tight End University concert in Nashville on June 23rd. As of now, his representatives have not issued any statements regarding the incident.
