Kansas Jayhawks baseball has had a record day heading into a massive 29-run game in Minnesota.
The Jayhawks visited the almost empty US Bank Stadium, home to the NFL's Minnesota Vikings, and challenged the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers.
After not running in the first innings, Kansas was down 1-0 to Minnesota. However, the Jayhawks responded with RBI singles in two innings, followed by a two-run single and a two-run home run.
In a 5-1 game in the top of third place, Kansas began a huge run of five consecutive home runs to tie the NCAA Records.
Chase Diggins started things with what turned out to be horrifyingly wrong with a three-run home run by Minnesota center fielder running down the outfield wall.
