The Kansas Highwaytrooper rescued a 6-year-old girl who has been missing for more than a month since being lured, and took two men whom she was in custody, authorities said Saturday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol troopers have a warrant for arrest from another state for pulling an SUV for a traffic violation and tempting a front seat passenger a month ago. The agency said.
The trooper found a girl that age inside the car along with a man and a driver from the 60s, the Highway Patrol said. It was also discovered that the driver has a criminal history, including murder and numerous weapons violations.
The troopers, with the help of a local sheriff's aide, secured both men before taking the girl out of the car safely, the Highway Patrol said.
“The six-year-old girl gave the troopers a false name and date of birth after being coached to try to keep adults out of prison,” the agency said. “In the end, our troopers calmed the girl down and let her know her true name.”
Authorities say the girl was identified as the victim of a donation who had been with the suspect for over a month.

According to the agency, the girl was unharmed and the two men were taken into custody.
The Kansas Highway Patrol told Fox News Digital that a traffic outage occurred in February. At this time, additional information could not be shared to protect the identity of the child and the integrity of the open case.
