Former White House press secretary Carine Jean Pierre said she has completely adjusted politics since the end of the Biden administration.
Many Democrats are still upset from their defeat in the 2024 election in November, but Jean Pierre Explained at the event At Harvard's Institute of Politics, she has been trying to move on.
“So the last time I saw the news was on January 20th when I was in the White House,” she said. “I haven't seen this news. I've really tried to focus on self-care. I've really tried to focus on my daughter. I'm 10 years old.”

Jean Pierre's bristling when pushed by past “democracy” warnings: “Don't thank me for the twisting of my words.”
“I think the best way to say this is 'I've deprogrammed myself to be able to become a civilian again,'' she said. “I used a wake-up at 4:30am. As it was a four-year schedule every day, when I left the auditorium, I thought I had this, adrenaline, 'Yeah! And I haven't missed it at all.”
“But, I would say, it was an honor and privilege to do the job and be a White House press secretary. “But I haven't missed it.”
When asked about the next part of her career, Jean Pierre replied, “I want to know myself.”
She then emphasized that after a long time of such a hard work, she needed time to grasp what she was moving forward for her next career.
“It'll take a little while to get off-program and ride on the other side,” Jean Pierre said. “I'm the longest-serving female spokesperson. It's crazy when I find out about it, but it tells me you know you're going to burn out with these jobs, so I'm excited to see what next.
