Karine Jean-Pierre Testifies on Biden’s Cognitive Health

Former White House press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, has arrived at Capitol Hill to face questions regarding concerns that former President Joe Biden may have concealed issues related to his cognitive health.

Prior to her interview, Jean-Pierre opted not to address any matters with reporters.

She recently released a memoir detailing her two years in a “broken” Biden administration, which reflects a shift in long-time Democrats who have since identified as independents.

“We intentionally wanted Jean-Pierre to be one of the last witnesses we bring in,” stated Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY). “We believe some of the insights she shares in her book could be relevant to our investigation.”

He also highlighted former Vice President Kamala Harris’s opinion, which suggested it was “reckless” for Biden to seek a second term. Her memoir, titled “107 Days,” focuses on her journey after withdrawing from the 2024 presidential race.

Questions surrounding Jean-Pierre’s testimony included whether President Biden was mentally fit for office and if she agreed with Harris’s assessment regarding Biden’s reelection attempt being reckless.

Additional inquiries involved claims of misuse of an Autopen to authorize numerous acts of clemency, with allegations stating Biden may not have been aware of pardons administered on his behalf during the closing months of his presidency.

Jean-Pierre has previously denied any assertions regarding Biden’s declining mental or physical health, maintaining that cognitive testing was unnecessary during his presidency.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor, Biden’s White House physician, was also summoned for questioning but invoked his fifth amendment rights to refrain from commenting.

The most recent Biden official to participate in the investigation was Andrew Bates, a former White House spokesman, who used his time to criticize Donald Trump and suggested that investigations into Biden were a misuse of taxpayer funds.
