Karoline Leavitt Joins Fox News as Contributor

Former White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is set to join Fox News as a contributor, according to an announcement from the network.

On Monday, Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott shared that Leavitt, who is 29, will begin her role on November 1st. She previously served as the 36th press secretary for President Donald Trump from January 2025 until August 2026.

“Karoline’s firsthand experience in the White House and on the presidential campaign trail gives her a distinct understanding of today’s political landscape. We look forward to her providing our audience with authentic and sharp insight across all FOX News Media platforms,” Scott said.

In her own words, Leavitt expressed gratitude for the opportunity, saying, “I am thankful to continue appearing on Fox News Channel as an official member of the extraordinary team at FOX News Media. I can’t wait to bring my unique perspective from my time as White House press secretary, along with the same energy and candor that defined my tenure, to Fox’s millions of viewers.”

Before her stint as press secretary, Leavitt acted as a spokesperson for MAGA (Make America Great Again) Inc. She made history as the youngest White House press secretary and was the first to do so while pregnant and after giving birth. She resigned shortly after returning from maternity leave, following the birth of her second child, a daughter.

Leavitt joins a lineup of former White House spokeswomen who have transitioned to roles within media. Jen Psaki, the 34th press secretary during President Joe Biden’s administration, left her position to host her own show on MS NOW. Kaleigh McEnany, the 33rd press secretary who worked under Trump during his first term, also became a co-host on Fox News. Dana Perino, the 26th press secretary representing George W. Bush, now serves as a commentator and host at Fox News.

As for who will replace Leavitt, President Trump has yet to announce a successor. Since her departure, several officials from his administration have been serving on a rotating basis. Leavitt has remained a staunch supporter of the president and his initiatives since stepping down from her high-profile role.

In a recent tweet, Eric Daugherty shared his excitement: “🚨 JUST IN: Former Trump White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt is joining FOX NEWS. Congratulations, @KarolineLeavitt! A HUGE MAGA voice going in front of millions on a routine basis is great news 🇺🇸”
