Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.) said in an interview Thursday that Kash Patel is “exactly what we need” at the FBI. Breitbart News Daily.
Tuberville said it's clear this time that President-elect Donald Trump has a solid team focused on the MAGA agenda, not theirs.
Host Mike Slater pointed out that during President Trump's first term, many of the people surrounding him were thinking “me, me, me.”
“And now it's all about team, team, team. Nothing is more important than the team. Nothing is more important than MAGA. Nothing is more important than this movement. It's not about me, it's about the team. Do you feel the same way about the people you've been meeting with in your Cabinet?'' Mr Slater asked the senators.
“One hundred percent,” Tuberville replied. … “We've got to have a good team, and his assistant coaches have been in and out of the Senate the last few weeks, talking to the senators, pitching their case, and I agree with all of them.'' We have to give him the team. And, you know, I'm very impressed with all of them.”
Of course, that includes Kash Patel.
“I have known Kash Patel for about five years,” Tuberville began. “And Kash is very smart. He's energetic. He's very interested in law enforcement. He worked at the Department of Defense. He worked at the Justice Department. He understands it. He's traveled all over the world. He understands behind-the-scenes family issues. He'll be perfect.”
“He's exactly the kind of person we need. He's one of those people who understands that we have to restore trust in the FBI. We don't need someone to step in and maintain the status quo,” said the senator. said Patel intends to “shake up the establishment” and kick out those who don't want to act in accordance with the U.S. Constitution.

“And I say he is — he's ready to go, and we need him in the worst possible way,” Tuberville said.
Mr Slater asked the senator if Mr Patel was one of the people the left feared most.
“We all know they used Merrick Garland and Christopher Wray and the CIA as a weapon against all the Republicans, the IRS by the way, but there's Pam Bondi running the attorney general's office. So we need to clean it up. Then, working with Kash Patel, they'll be the perfect duo to start in earnest now that they understand everything that happened. “Yes,” he answered.
“They are looking at a weaponized Justice Department,” he said, “and the American people, the people who run this country, the people we talk to and the things we represent. ”
“And they understand that very well,” the senator added.
