FBI Director Celebrates Trump Administration’s First 200 Days
FBI Director Kash Patel took to social media on Saturday to mark what he viewed as significant achievements during the initial 200 days of the Trump administration. He highlighted several statistics in a post on his official X account, stating that over 1,600 individuals have been arrested for violent crimes against children, including 270 linked to human trafficking.
Additionally, he mentioned the seizure of around 1,500 kilos of fentanyl, noting that this amount could potentially be fatal for over 113 million Americans.
In his message, Patel expressed gratitude towards the administration, stating, “We would like to thank the new authorities, alongside the Department of Defense.”
The White House also shared a post emphasizing “200 Days of America Update,” which featured mentions of infrastructure improvements, particularly in border security.
In another significant note, Deputy Director Dan Bongino reported that 449 child predators were arrested, with 224 children rescued in the FBI’s first three months under his leadership. He echoed Patel’s sentiment by suggesting, “This is not the beginning, it’s just the beginning, with more to come.” Interestingly, Bongino had previously contemplated resigning while dealing with the Epstein files this past summer, highlighting an ongoing frustration with the limited transparency surrounding those investigations.
Meanwhile, the U.S. Department of Justice has dismissed claims about the existence of Epstein’s client list. In a related development, President Trump recently commended Attorney General Pam Bondi for her performance, reinforcing a sense of satisfaction with the administration’s progress.
