Kate Middleton looked energetic at the annual Trooping the Colour Parade in London on Saturday, marking her first public appearance since revealing her battle with cancer in March.
The Princess of Wales, 42, attended a glitzy military ceremony marking King Charles’ birthday on Friday after announcing she was now well enough to attend.
In her emotional letter, she acknowledged that she has “good days and bad days” and said she is “not completely free of the illness.”
The mother-of-three was last seen in public on Christmas Day, shortly before doctors discovered the cancer during scheduled abdominal surgery in January.
Middleton first revealed in March that she was undergoing chemotherapy for an unspecified type of cancer, amid speculation about her recent absence from public life.
The traditional parade on Saturday saw thousands of soldiers and horses marching, and featured flying and musical displays by the Royal Air Force.
The ceremony takes place every June, regardless of King Charles’ birthday (14th November).
During last year’s parade, Middleton rode in a horse-drawn carriage and appeared on the balcony of Buckingham Palace with King Charles and other royal family members.
