Duchess Kate helped cancer patients check off items on their 'photo bucket list'.
On October 2, Prince William hosted an investiture ceremony at Windsor Castle and invited Liz, a 16-year-old aspiring photographer who is battling cancer, to capture the moment on film.
On the Prince and Princess of Wales' official Instagram page, the royal couple shared photos from the event taken by Liz.
“Congratulations to everyone who was honored today in Windsor! I was so happy to receive the award!” @lizhatton_photography They helped me capture these special moments,” the caption reads.

According to the BBC, Liz was diagnosed with desmoplastic small round cell tumor in January. This is a rare and aggressive cancer. The newspaper reported that the 16-year-old boy was given six months to three years to live.

Just a month after Middleton shared a video announcing that she had completed chemotherapy, Middleton helped Liz complete an item on her bucket list.

In March, Middleton revealed her cancer diagnosis and said she was undergoing preventive chemotherapy. In a video shared last month, the royal revealed that she is cancer-free after completing treatment.
The mother-of-three admitted it had been an “incredibly tough” year for her family, but her battle with cancer has given her many opportunities, including “loving and being loved.” “It reminded me to be grateful for the simple but important things in life,” he said.
