Kate Middleton shares tribute to Prince William on Father’s Day

Kate Middleton paid tribute to her husband on Father’s Day with a message on social media.

Prince Charles shared a photo of Prince William on Sunday with his back turned.

Next to him, also facing away from the cameras, were the couple’s three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, with Prince William holding them in his arms as they looked out at the ocean from the sand.

“We love you, Daddy. Happy Father’s Day,” the caption read, along with his children’s initials: G, C, L.

Father’s Day is the third Sunday of June in both the United States and the UK. On that day, Prince William sent his father, King Charles, a Father’s Day greeting.

The Father’s Day post came a day after Middleton made her first public appearance in months. Flag Raising Ceremony event.

On Friday, Kate released a statement on social media, telling her followers: “I am recovering well but as anyone going through chemotherapy knows, there are good days and bad days. On the bad days I feel weak and tired and just need to rest. But on the good days I feel strong and want to make the most of it.”

“My treatment is ongoing and will continue for a few more months. On the days when I feel well enough, I enjoy taking part in school life, spending personal time on things that give me energy and positivity, and starting to do a little work from home.”

The princess acknowledged that “we’re not out of the woods yet” but said she was “looking forward to” Saturday’s event, and that she hopes to “attend some public events over the summer.”

“I’m learning to be patient, especially in times of uncertainty,” she said. “I’m taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this time I need to heal.”

The flag-raising ceremony takes place every June to celebrate the monarch’s birthday, regardless of when that monarch’s actual birthday falls. This annual event is highlighted by the ceremonial presentation of the flag or “standard”.

Middleton was photographed riding in a horse-drawn carriage to the event, and later on the palace balcony. Prince William, Their children, Prince Louis, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, as well as King Charles and Queen Camilla.
