Kate Middleton has made a “better turn” with her cancer treatment and continues to recover behind palace doors.
The allegations were made by an anonymous friend of royal author and Vanity Fair reporter Katie Nicholl, with sources saying the mother-of-three is recuperating in private and is making good progress with preventive chemotherapy.
“We are very relieved that she is taking her medication and is actually doing much better,” a royal family friend insisted. Vanity Fair.

“Obviously it’s been a very difficult and worrying time,” the source said. “Everyone has rallied around her. [her husband] William, her parents, and her sister and brother.”
The 42-year-old princess has been briefed on the new report from her organisation, the Royal Foundation Early Childhood Education Centre, but a source told the outlet she is in no rush to return to royal duties.
The foundation’s executive director, Christian Guy, recently told BBC News that the foundation’s work was “progressing well” as the princess “recovers,” adding that he was “excited” about the new campaign. Childhood has been a special focus for the princess, who launched the foundation in 2021.

Sources insisted Kate was sharing the work update to give the public some much-needed reassurance.
“There’s no set timeline and there’s certainly no rush,” a source told Vanity Fair. “It will be when Katherine feels ready and gets the go-ahead from her medical team, but she will be 100 percent back to work. There’s no question about that.”
The source spoke after reports said the princess had been spotted out and about with her family recently, but no photos had been released of the outing.

Prince Charles announced in March that he was undergoing treatment for cancer and has not been seen in public since undergoing scheduled abdominal surgery in January.
“The Princess will not be returning to work until she has been cleared by her medical team, and her main duties will remain caring for her young children,” a Kensington Palace spokesperson previously told Fox News Digital.

Prince William has since returned to royal duties on her behalf, along with other members of the royal family, and took her first overnight trip earlier this month to visit a homeless-focused housing project in the Duchy of Cornwall.
“Prince William clearly feels that Kate is on the mend and is very relaxed, having left London and been spotted in Cornwall,” royal expert Ian Pelham told Fox News Digital at the time.
In a video message announcing that she was undergoing chemotherapy on March 22, the princess thanked people for their “wonderful messages of support.”

“These past few months have been incredibly difficult for our whole family, but I have an incredible medical team who have taken such great care of me and I am so grateful,” she said.
Kate added that after the cancer was discovered, she was “advised to undergo preventive chemotherapy and is currently in the early stages of treatment,” and said she had informed her three children — Prince George, 10, Prince Louis, 6, and Princess Charlotte, 9.
“I am doing well and getting stronger every day by focusing on the things that are helping to heal my mind, body and soul,” the royal said. “Having William by my side is a source of great comfort and reassurance, as is the love, support and kindness shown to us by all of you, which means so much to both of us.”
