Kate Whiteman, who accused the Alexander brothers of rape, has been found dead in Australia.

The woman who initially accused Oren and Aron Alexander of rape, leading to multiple similar claims, has passed away, according to reports. Kate Whiteman, aged 45, was found deceased in Australia late last year. The New South Wales coroner has indicated that the cause of her death is currently under investigation. Additional details have been requested by Fox News Digital from the New South Wales coroner.

This news arrives just as the brothers are set to begin their criminal trial, with jury selection scheduled to start on January 20th.

Oren and Tal Alexander are well-known luxury real estate brokers, co-founding a firm called Official after their success at Douglas Elliman. Their brother, Aron, was involved in his family’s private security business.

Prosecutors accuse the three brothers of collaborating to drug and sexually assault women for over a decade, with incidents reported in locations like Miami, New York, and the Hamptons—claims the Alexander brothers have continually denied. Additionally, Oren and Aron face state felony sexual assault charges in Florida.

In a civil suit filed in 2024, Whiteman claimed that following a night out in New York in 2012, the brothers coerced her into an SUV and took her to a Hamptons property owned by Sir Ivan Wilzig, where the assault occurred. Another accuser, Rebecca Mandel, simultaneously filed a lawsuit stating that after meeting the brothers at a nightclub in 2010, they took her to an apartment where they assaulted her.

The allegations spurred many other women to come forward with similar experiences.

If found guilty, the Alexander brothers could face extensive prison sentences. They are currently held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, alongside figures such as Sean “Diddy” Combs.

The indictment claims that the brothers exploited their wealth and influence to entice women to nightclubs and events, where they allegedly drugged and assaulted them.

Oren and Tal Alexander’s real estate company, which began operating in 2022, has dealt with luxury properties in major cities such as New York, the Hamptons, Miami, and Los Angeles. Their past clients reportedly include celebrities like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West.
